Window Design: Recommended to be 0.5mm smaller than the POL side to prevent exposing the POL white edge.

For Pure Screen Applications: Double-sided tape on the LENS should not contact the TP directly.

Case Design: Foam should extend 0.3MM (minimum) into the glass side to prevent light leakage.

The 480x800 resolution on the IPS panel provides excellent clarity, wide viewing angle, and precise color reproduction, which is crucial for our diagnostic UI. Focus on Value for High-Resolution Applications (From a Hobbyist on a Complex Project) I used it for customizing smart home controllers and was impressed by its cost-effectiveness. It is rare to find a true 480x800 IPS pixel and modern MIPI interface~4-inch panel at such a cost. Rich colors and flawless perspective. In terms of customization, it means I can get it without a touch screen (saving costs) because I use a separate overlay. Using the correct adapter board to drive Raspberry Pi CM4 through MIPI is very simple. ST7701S is a common driver and therefore has community support. If you need a clear, small display for advanced projects that can handle MIPI integration, please don't wait and see.
