Operating Guidelines
Important Handling Instructions
  1. The display panel is made of glass and polarizer. As glass is fragile, it tends to break or chip during handling, especially on the edges. Avoid dropping or jarring the module.
  2. If the display panel is damaged and liquid crystal substance leaks out, do not ingest. If contact occurs with skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.
  3. Do not apply excessive force to the display surface or adjoining areas as this may cause color variation. Avoid bare hand contact to prevent staining and insulation degradation.
  4. The polarizer is soft and easily scratched. Handle carefully and avoid contact with hard objects. After low-temperature testing, warm modules gradually before exposing to room temperature.
  5. For cleaning, gently wipe with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn contamination, use isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol. Do not scrub hard.
  6. Avoid using solvents other than those specified as they may damage the polarizer.

The resistive touch panel senses touch by measuring contact location on the glass. It operates independently of temperature and humidity and is simple to integrate without requiring a separate controller chip.

The transmissive polarizer is ideal for displays with constant backlight operation, providing maximum brightness with efficient power consumption.
