Product Description

ChengHao Display model T050IWV40E1K542 is a color active matrix thin film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) that uses amorphous silicon TFT as a switching device. This model is composed of a TFT LCD panel, a touch panel a driving IC, a back-light and FPC.

This TFT LCD has a 5.0 (Horizontal screen) inch diagonally measured active display area with 800*3(RGB)*480 resolution.

The driver used for this project can display 16M colors by R.G.B. signal input. The driver is mounted on the glass and the interconnection via FPC including components to drive the display module. Support 24-bit Parallel RGB Interface.

In addition, FPC can also be customized according to customer requirements, such as modifying back-light and FPC structure, interface definition, etc. RoHS Compliance & Halogen Free.

I use this OLED on my personal care devices and the display is clear and bright enough to be readable even in dim light. The small size and light weight do not affect the portability of the device at all, making it a very useful small display.

The COB LCD module is compact and easy to integrate into my custom PCB. I like that it supports standard ASCII characters, which makes displaying status messages simple. The LED backlight is uniform across the screen, and I haven't noticed any dead pixels. Would recommend for hobbyists and professionals alike.

The OLED's -40°C to +85°C wide-temperature performance was very stable in industrial environment tests, and the COG package is thin, durable, and small enough to fit well in space-constrained industrial equipment with high overall reliability.
